Hallmark’s finance director Norman Ewen is seen delivering the new community bus to Lady Newton, chairman of Braintree District Council. “Hallmark are sponsoring the bus for the next three years” he says. “As our flagship scheme at Meadow Park has been such a success, we felt it was right to give something back to the people of Braintree.” The Braintree Community Transport Scheme (BCTS) provides an important lifeline for many locals and is largely staffed by volunteers.
